President (Emeritus) University of Rhode Island, BS Civil Engineering Owner and founder, with over 40 years experience, I provide guidance to the crew. Still not afraid to get my hands dirty, and performs most of the soil evaluations in the field.

Sr. Engineer Manager
Over 30 years’ experience in Civil, Structural, Facility & Environmental Engineering. Experience with design, permitting and construction of Commercial, Institutional, Governmental and Private facilities. Personal interests include most sports, about every type of water sport available (hard or soft) especially sailing. For fun, I enjoy working on Master Plans and schematic facility designs for various retreat and Summer Camp facilities overseas (seventeen countries so far).

I am typically split between the office and the field, performing surveys, and site visits. Familiar with Flood Plain construction/ foundation design and the relevant FEMA building codes.

As the survey crew chief, I split my time in the field, performing surveys, doing land evidence research, drafting + reconciliation, along with coordinating survey jobs and staff.

NEI has accepted interns from many different universities including University of Rhode Island, Roger Williams, University of Delaware Wentworth, among others and we are always looking for summer or winter break interns from the Rhode Island area with a civil engineering geotechnical or structural focus.
